Is my data secure?
TotalAttorneys.com provides the same SSL protection used by online banking and government institutions. Data is encrypted at the storage level using industry-proven algorithms and is housed in an accredited, dedicated, secure data center with 24/7 uptime and monitoring.

Who has access to my data?
Within your office, you control who has access to your Total Attorneys account by providing licenses with unique user names and passwords. If an employee leaves your office, simply notify us and we will delete that user name and password to prevent future access. We will not access your data except upon request from you. In the rare event that we should otherwise need to access your data, you will be notified in advance and data will not be altered in any way. Your data remains encrypted during software updates.

Is unbundling legal service ethical?
As with any ethical question, it’s important to be familiar with the specific rules and decisions in your jurisdiction. In general, bar associations are moving in the direction of not only approving but encouraging the unbundling of legal services. The ABA supports unbundling because it increases access to justice. How does the time and billing system work?
Total Attorneys offers your law firm a variety of options for time-tracking and billing. While many billing and time-tracking systems allow only for billable hours, Total Attorneys recognizes the trend toward fixed-fee billing and hybrid methods and allows for fixed-fee, hourly or combination billing and you can send invoices straight from the platform. Attorneys choose the billing method on a case-by-case basis. The platform logs time for fixed-fee cases as well as hourly to help you track your time investment and assess your pricing.
